Quality policy of the Motor Transport Institute

The main area of activity of the Motor Transport Institute is research, development, implementation work and services as well as activities related to the certification of persons, products and services and inspections in the field of transport safety, transport economics, environmental protection and technical safety. The main objective of these activities is to develop new technical (including the possibility of using modern materials in transport), organizational and economic solutions in these areas.

The strategic objective of the ITS Director is to provide clients with reliable and objective results of work carried out in accordance with established principles, guaranteeing their adequately high professional level. This is accomplished by:

  • continuously improving qualifications of the independent, highly ethical staff
  • development of laboratory and technical facilities,
  • ensuring information security at every stage of its processing,
  • operating in an impartial manner and not succumbing to the commercial, financial pressure and other threatening impartiality,
  • operating in a way to counteract the occurrence of corrupt behaviour,

Specific quality objectives are determined during the management meetings and management reviews. Quality Management System ensures the consistency of the activities of all organizational units of the Institute and is based on well-functioning systems in the accredited laboratories, certification bodies and inspection authorityy.

I do commit all employees to be acquainted with this policy, abide by it and to apply the principles established in the existing system documents. The implemented Quality Management System complies with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2015-10 standard. The system is continuously improved through subjecting it to systematic evaluations and reviews.

The Director's Representative for Quality is responsible for the proper functioning of the Quality Management System, acting on my behalf. In these activities Director's Representative for Quality is supported by the Department of Certification, Standardization and Quality.
