Between the November 1-4, 2018, the 70th International Fair - "Ideas, Inventions, New Products iAEN 2018" was held in Nuremberg.

This Fair is one of the world's largest events of this type, which is proven by the number of inventions presented - this year more than 750 from nearly 30 countries.

Polish inventions were developed by universities, enterprises and research institutes.

During the Fair, Motor Transport Institute was awarded a silver medal for the Automotive Services Centre for the Disabled - the first facility in Poland that deals in a comprehensive way with the mobility problem of the persons with motor dysfunction.

The Institute also received a medal from the invention organization from Croatia (the Union of Croatian Innovators), for the Polish Road Traffic Safety Observatory, whose goal is to contribute to reducing the number of road accident victims in Poland.

The honorary patronage over the Polish exposition of the fair was taken by the Main Council of Research Institutes and the Foundation - "Women of Science - Polish Women of Science Network".
